PRP: INEC Refuses to Witness Sule Bello’s Delegates Conference, Declares It Illegal
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared as illegal the purported 2nd National Delegates Conference held last Saturday by Sule Bello and his hoodlums in the Zaria town of Kaduna State.
The top management of the commission disclosed that invitation was extended to them by Sule Bello requesting them to witness the conference but they refused to honour the invitation considering the fact that the purported conference is nothing but an utter illegality.
The commission further revealed that to the best of its knowledge, Alhaji Falalu Bello, OFR is the authentic National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).
It could be recalled that Sule Bello had convened a conference that he tagged 2nd National Delegates Conference in Zaria last Saturday. The conference, which had few people in attendance, was not witnessed by INEC officials or any security agents.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been making it clear that Sule Bello is not the National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party.
On its own part, the leadership of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) had stated that Sule Bello had never been a member or stakeholder of the party at any level or time.
Further checks by our correspondent at the INEC headquarters and its website had shown that Alhaji Falalu Bello, OFR is the National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) while Mr. Babatunde Francis Alli is the National Secretary of the party.
